The easiest way to find South Port is to take Riverside Drive east until it ends with a sharp right turn in the road. South Port is the first left, after the sharp right turn.

If you are using EC Row Expressway, turn North at the West Pike Creek intersection. Take West Pike Creek north, it turns into Brighton Road. After the second stop sign you will see a small medium in the road, South Port is the first right after the medium.

By Sea

South Port Sailing Club is located in Pike Creek, on the southern shore of Lake St. Clair. Visitors are always welcome at South Port but due to low water levels and the expense of dredging, water depth is limited to 6ft.

Water depths are shallow to the east and west of the entrance channel to Pike Creek. Please be sure you stay within the channel markers when entering Pike Creek.

If you are visiting us at night South Port Sailing Club maintains a rear range light to help in navigation. The range light is a fixed red light mounted high (but near the tree line) so it is clear to see when approaching from the north. Line up the rear range light with the flashing green entrance light to find the outer extent of the channel. None of the channel markers are lit so be prepared to take it slow with a flashlight in hand.
