This is a sanctioned Essex County PHRF Association double counter regatta for Lake St. Clair and ECPHRF boat of the year.
53rd Annual Invitational Regatta
Saturday & Sunday
July 2nd–3rd, 2016
South Port Sailing Club invites all competitors for an action pact long weekend. The weekend consist of a two-part program. A Pursuit Race on Friday afternoon followed by the annual Invitational Regatta Saturday and Sunday. The Invitational consists of 3 races over two days with Sunday's race flowing into the sail-past and Sail-A-Bration. Block off your calendars because you won't want to leave!
Friday will be a welcoming for visiting boats and in-person registration starting 1700. The 1st just so happens to line up with SPSC's monthly Happy Hour so it's sure to be well attended. Festivities include a BBQ and a bonfire. Racers are encouraged to participate in SPSC's Pursuit Race earlier that afternoon.
Saturday Afternoon, will consist of one point to point race. The first warning signal will be at 1555.
Saturday evening there will be a regatta party.
Those staying over can enjoy the convivial atmosphere around the firepit Saturday evening.
After Sundays's Breakfast will be two modified-olympic course races. The first warning signal will be at 0955.
Sunday after Racing will be the sail-past
Onshore will be the awards ceremony and Sail-A-Bration.
All competitors are welcome to signup for the SPSC Sail-A-Bration — deadline for dinner reservations is Friday June 24th.

Entry Fee is $40.
Awards will be South Port Sailing Club Invitational Regatta Flags. Top three flags will be awarded in each division.
The Racing Area shall be centred at Mark S, 1.45 miles due magnetic north from outside the Pike Creek channel on Lake St. Clair.
